At the heart of Jaywalk Small Batch is a blend of 6,7 and 8 Year old Horton Heirloom Rye that has aged in medium charred virgin oak barrels. The smaller heirloom rye has a unique set of complex sugars the belies the notion that Rye = Spice. The Horton Rye is supported by other straight ryes to create a whisky equally at home neat or in a cocktail. Lots of tropical notes - candied pineapple, dried mango and caramelized brown sugar on pineapple with sweet vanilla on the finish.
