On the nose, tons of fresh black raspberries, juicy cassis, wet stone, purple flowers, thyme, and black pepper. Pleasingly medium-bodied, with soft, plush tannins and juicy acidity to round out flavors of black cherry, black plum, baking spices, and anise. A pleasant, lingering finish from a wine that punches well above its weight.
