Freshly crushed apple pulp attacked my nose when inhaling this beauty. Groult actually ages the cider for 6 months prior to distillation from 100% apples (as opposed to adding pear, which is allowed). This uncomplicated, nicely spiced finish will do just fine in a glass, with or without a roaring fire, thank you very much.
